This 8-day adventure begins and ends in Marrakech, with the option to extend your holiday in the Moroccan desert for a deeper exploration. The regions explored on this journey can become extremely hot in the summer, so the best times to visit are autumn, spring, or winter. During winter, daytime temperatures are pleasant at around 20°C, though nights can drop below freezing. This tour ventures into the less-travelled but equally captivating Sirwa and Saghro massifs, located south of the more popular Toubkal region. These fascinating areas are characterised by extinct volcanoes, dramatic gorges, lush oases, and expansive desert plateaux. The landscape is a rich tapestry of traditional Berber villages, mud-brick kasbahs, palm trees, almond groves, small agricultural plots, and hedges of wild roses. It is truly a land of contrasts, where arid beauty meets pockets of vibrant life, offering an unforgettable experience of southern Morocco’s natural and cultural diversity.
