Day Trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls

This 1-day trip begins and ends in Marrakech, with the option to extend your holiday in Morocco for a longer and more immersive experience. Discover one of Morocco’s most stunning natural wonders on a full-day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls, located in the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, about 150 kilometres north-east of Marrakech. At 110 metres high, the falls are the tallest and most beautiful in the country, making this a perfect escape from the city. Along the way, enjoy several scenic stops to take photos of the changing landscapes. Once at the falls, you’ll have the opportunity to swim at the base of the waterfall, or if you prefer, take a short boat ride across the river for a different perspective. A guided walk through the olive groves offers the chance to spot wild Barbary apes and take in the peaceful surroundings. Lunch will be served at a typical local restaurant, just a few metres from the falls, offering lovely views and authentic Moroccan flavours. The word “Ouzoud” comes from the Berber language and means the act of grinding grain.
