This 1-day adventure begins and ends in Marrakech, with the option to extend your holiday in the Atlas Mountains for a deeper experience. Begin your day by crossing wheat fields and traditional Berber villages, heading toward the Kik Plateau, a distinctive limestone outcrop offering sweeping views over green valleys and distant peaks. Along the way, take in the peaceful, rocky landscapes of the Agafay Desert and the calm waters of the Amizmiz Dam. The route continues through the Moulay Brahim Gorges, then on to the town of Asni, where you can visit a traditional weekly souk held every Saturday, or choose to visit the one in Tahanaout on Tuesdays, depending on your travel date. Finally, arrive at Imlil, a charming village set at the base of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa. Here, enjoy a relaxing Berber lunch while taking in the fresh mountain air and scenic surroundings. Itinerary

  • Day 1: Marrakech – Agafay Desert – Amizmiz Dam – Kik Plateau – Moulay Ibrahim Gorges – Imlil Valley 1740m – Aroumd Village 2000m

    Pick up you from the Hotel at 9h00 and drive to Agafay Desert, called as well as Magic Desert, great landscape and close to Marrakech, visit round and then drive to Amizmiz Dan, stop for Pictures. Then, pass wheat fields and villages on your way to the Kik Plateau, a distinctive limestone outcropping in the Atlas Mountains that offers wonderful views of the lush valleys below. and then take the track that joins Asni finally reach the village of Imlil here you’ll have lunch after the hike than after lunch other more hike according to your level of fitness. This is a charming village built at the foot of the highest mountain in North Africa, the highest Toubkal 4167m. Near the river, in the shade of walnut and stone houses which are built on the mountainside, the locals are very friendly. It emanates from the place an atmosphere of calm and serenity, back to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
