Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech − Imlil – start of the hike to Toubkal − Toubkal Refuge
Early in the morning, short transfer to Imlil where we meet the muleteer(s). We start our hike with a beautiful climb to the village of Aremd, terraced crops, irrigation channels, then by marabout of Sidi Chemharouch, to reach the Toubkal refuge at 3100m. 5 hours of walking. Night in a refuge.
Day 2: Toubkal Refuge (3100 M) − Ascent of Toubkal (4167m) − Return to the Refuge
The ascent of the highest peak in North Africa is done without major difficulty. Departure as early as possible to take advantage of the freshness of the morning. From the summit of Toubkal (4167m) the view extends far, we can see the Siroua massif, as well as the plain of Marrakech. Descent and return. Tea and lunch at the refuge, free afternoon. 3H for the ascent. 2H30 for the descent.
Day 3: Toubkal Refuge − Imlil − Marrakech
After breakfast, we descend gently by the same mule track towards the marabout of Sidi Chemharouch (2250m), a venerated saint, renowned for the treatment of spiritual illnesses (King of the Devils), under a rock painted in white, lunch at Imlil 1750 m. 4H of descent then around 13H, return to Marrakech. Duration: 4H of walking / 1H20 of road.
